Civil and Construction Engineering professor Dr. Andrew South was selected as the College of Engineering recipient in BYU's 2023 Experiential Learning Awards.
The award, nominated by students involved in experiential learning activities, recognizes faculty for their dedication to student growth and success.
South (pictured above, front row, left) received the award at an event on April 7, where presenters noted his work with students in the Sustainability Lab.
"The greatest resource we have is the committed energy of our students," South said in response to the award. "Good things happen when passion and problem align."
