Academic Advisement
Emily Platt
Emily Platt is our CCE academic advisor! She has a Master's degree from Utah Valley University in Math Education. Her hobbies include pickleball, softball, biking, attending the theater, and playing games with her family.
Emily advises all Civil Engineering and Construction & Facility Property Management majors. Students can meet with Emily to discuss course planning, general education requirements, graduation, Academic Improvement Plans, adding a minor, and many other questions.
Freshmen, new transfer students, and returning missionaries are encouraged to meet with Emily prior to registering for their first semester. For returned missionaries, Emily can ensure that the student does not overlook any changes to the program that may have occurred during their absence.

Students may also come in during Drop-In hours on Tuesday from 9 - 11 am for answers to quick questions. In addition, you can email her through your BYU email in accordance with BYU's new email policy. Make an Appointment
