The Brigham Young University student chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) took first place in the Mountain District Collegiate Traffic Bowl. The BYU student chapter competed against 5 other schools on June 20, 2024, in Big Sky, MT. This year, the BYU student chapter team consisted of Sam Runyan, Antonio Ruiz, and Kendon Moline, with Josh Ogden as the alternate. This is the fifth consecutive year that BYU has won the District Traffic Bowl. Sam Runyan and Antonio Ruiz were also awarded the Mountain District Outstanding Graduate and Undergraduate students, respectively. Winning at the district level earned BYU a spot at the International Collegiate Traffic Bowl Grand Championship in Philadelphia, PA, on July 22, 2024. The students competed strong but came up short after the final question and placed 2nd behind Purdue University. Congratulations to our team!
