CCE student takes 3rd place in Fresh Ideas Poster Competition

Anna Cardall presents her work in global remote sensing tools.

The American Water Works Association has announced the winners of its annual Fresh Ideas Poster Competition, which took place during AWWA’s Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE) in San Antonio last month. The competition was one of several special events at ACE22 geared toward students and young professionals.

The third-place winner was BYU's Anna Cardall. Her poster, based on research from Utah Lake, was titled, “Global Remote Sensing Tools for Historical Water Quality Assessment.”

AWWA shared, "The thought and knowledge shared by the posters’ authors impressed the judges immensely, exceeding their expectations for the first in-person poster competition since ACE19. Our future is bright with these students and young professionals in water!"
