Fall 2026 (December):

• Last day for students to apply for graduation: Oct 14, 2026
• Last day for departments to approve graduation applications: Oct 28, 2026
• Last day for students to schedule defense: Dec 4, 2026
• Last day for students to defend: Dec 11, 2026
• Last day to submit thesis/dissertation to College Dean: Dec 15, 2026
• Last day to complete all requirements: Dec 18, 2026
• University Commencement and College Convocations: Apr 22-23, 2027

Winter 2027 (April):

• Last day for students to apply for graduation: Jan 22, 2027
• Last day for departments to approve graduation applications: Jan 29, 2027
• Last day for students to schedule defense: Apr 9, 2027
• Last day for students to defend: Apr 15, 2027
• Last day to submit thesis/dissertation to College Dean: Apr 19, 2027
• Last day to complete all requirements: Apr 21, 2027
• University Commencement and College Convocations: Apr 22-23, 2027

Spring 2027 (June):

• Last day for students to apply for graduation: May 3, 2027 (for those not wanting to walk in April Convocation; if a student wants to walk, they must have their applications submitted by March 12, 2027)
• Last day for departments to approve graduation applications: May 14, 2027 (for those not wanting to walk in April Convocation; if a student wants to walk, they must have their applications submitted by March 16, 2027)
• Last day for students to schedule defense: Jun 4, 2027
• Last day for students to defend: Jun 11, 2027
• Last day to submit thesis/dissertation to College Dean: Jun 15, 2027
• Last day to complete all requirements: Jun 17, 2027
• University Commencement and College Convocations: Apr 22-23, 2027

Summer 2027 (August):

• Last day for students to apply for graduation: Jun 17, 2027 (for those not wanting to walk in April Convocation; if a student wants to walk, they must have their applications submitted by March 12, 2027)
• Last day for departments to approve graduation applications: July 2, 2027 (for those not wanting to walk in April Convocation; if a student wants to walk, they must have their applications submitted by March 16, 2027)
• Last day for students to schedule defense: Jul 30, 2027
• Last day for students to defend: Aug 4, 2027
• Last day to submit thesis/dissertation to College Dean: Aug 9, 2027
• Last day to complete all requirements: Aug 11, 2027
• University Commencement and College Convocations: Apr 22-23, 2027
