Biography
The Construction Industry has been the family business for generations and I have worked in the Construction Industry my entire life. I have run my own Design Build Construction Company for over two decades and completely enjoy building. I have been a teacher for over seventeen years now and also enjoy giving back to the students at BYU.
Research Interests
My research interests are in Building Information Modeling (BIM) promoting sustainability and refined material and method process, and value Engineering analysis. My research primarily involves working with companies Nationally and Internationally, improving business efficiency and safety and risk evaluation, and sharing that information in research papers and in the classroom.Teaching Interests
My teaching interests are Design Build using, Virtual Design in Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). I enjoy Architecture and the design process, I really enjoy teaching students how to Model projects to improve project management, sharing with them ways to make construction more efficient, completed with higher quality through innovative techniques, value engineering, and reduced risk.Honors and Awards
