The Construction Industry has been the family business for generations and I have worked in the Construction Industry my entire life. I have run my own Design Build Construction Company for over two decades and completely enjoy building. I have been a teacher for over seventeen years now and also enjoy giving back to the students at BYU.

Research Interests

I enjoy using BIM Modeling to promote sustainability primarily in developing countries. I have been working with a research group at the Institute of Technology in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for over 14 years implementing sustainability into their construction market design.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests are Design Build using, Virtual Design in Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). I enjoy Architecture and the design process, I really enjoy teaching students how to Model projects to improve project management, and show them how to develop designs that are creative, innovative and value engineered.
