Biography
Dr. Matt Wheelwright graduated from BYU's Construction Management program in 2000 and followed his dream to build high quality homes in Southern California. Working as a Project Manager and Director of Community Development, Matt built high-end single family and low and medium density communities. Matt return to BYU for an MBA and followed with a PhD in Urban Design from the University of Utah. After teaching classes during his doctorate degree, Dr. Wheelwright further developed his teachings skills as an Adjunct Professor at UVU and BYU prior to full time service at BYU, beginning Fall 2023.
Research Interests
Dr Wheelwright cares deeply about creating successful and long-lasting projects in the built environment. Research interests focus on characteristics of successful design, implication, and maintenance of urban projects.Teaching Interests
