Green Garbology

Green Garbology designs, fabricates, installs and repairs trash and recycle chutes in high-rise, multi-tenant buildings. We also act as consultants to architects and builders that have a need for trash and recycle chutes.

Additionally, we sell / lease and service commercial trash compactors and other trash equipment in large high-rise buildings and also design and install odor control systems.

Since our clients are large nationwide high-rise apartment management companies that operate in nearly every city throughout the US, we have realized the tremendous opportunity that we have to service our clients throughout the entire country. (We currently operate in DFW, Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Oklahoma).

We are looking for leadership that will be responsible for our technicians and construction for the many services and projects that we handle on a weekly basis. This individual will work out of our Denton, Texas based HQ / shop.
Because of our growth, there will be ample opportunity to be promoted into higher level positions as we add Area and Regional level positions.

We understand that we are a unique business, therefore we aren't expecting you to come on board and know everything. We will most certainly invest in your training so that you can be successful in this role. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. As a Project Engineer on our team out of our Salt Lake City /and Bacchus, Utah office, you’ll have an opportunity to work on active projects coordinating the progression of trades and design-field staff. You will participate in Owner/Architect/ Contractor meetings follow projects from commencing of construction to occupancy by end users. Based at a client site, you will oversee that all work completed by contractors and consultants is of the highest quality with safety being our highest priority. You will also provide support to the Project Manager by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, and change order estimates/negotiations. Other activities will include regular safety and quality control checks, maintaining drawing sets and RFI logs, and becoming familiar with building codes and client specifications, and assisting with inspection documentation. Through this role you will have the opportunity to work on multiple fast-moving projects and larger, long-scheduled projects.

3. Task - Expanding Northrop Grumman’s rocket assembly and shipping facility
4. When – Immediate Need
5. Requirement – U.S. Citizenship (to obtain Northrop Grumman security badge)

A successful candidate will have:

1. Technical skills (A student in the BYU Construction program fulfills this perfectly)
2. Soft skills (able to communicate well, adaptable, willing to learn unfamiliar or new processes)
3. Reference (from previous construction experience, BYU Construction Management program lead, professor or similar)
