Dr. Schultz and Dr. Macfarlane traveled to Washington, DC in January to attend the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting held January 9-13, 2022. The faculty were accompanied by eight of their current graduate students, Emma Stucki, Gillian Martin, Natalie Gray, Bruce Wang, Tanner Daines, Cory Ward, Tommy Barriga, and Chris Day. Students and faculty participated in a variety of sessions addressing the research issues surrounding transportation today. They also met up with several BYU civil engineering alumni during the event. The students were excited to learn from top researchers across the globe about their chosen profession.
