Instructions for CFM Internships
CFM 199R Academic Internship
- The CFM 199R internship can be completed on campus through BYU Facilities or by accepting an off-campus internship with a Property Management company.
If you prefer to complete the internship on campus through BYU Facilities, please use the contact information to secure the internship. Jess Walker at jessica.walker@byu.edu. - Once you have secured an internship offer, complete the CFM Internship Application here and email it to Prof. Michael Bown at bown@byu.edu for approval. Please include Emily Platt in your application email; emily_platt@byu.edu.
- Once you have received the approval from Prof. Bown, you will need to request CMF 199R internship credit by filling out the application with Experiential Learning and Internships office at https://experience.byu.edu/students.

- The CFM 199R Internship consists of 120 hours of work experience. You will be registered for 1 credit hour. To receive a grade for completing the internship, you will be required to complete assignments through learning suite, which includes submitting a final report to Prof. Bown.
CFM 399R Academic Internship
