CFM 199R Technical Internship
The CFM 199R Technical Internship is an opportunity for FM students to gain valuable hands-on experience in a variety of shops and departments with BYU’s Physical Facilities. The technical internship will focus on understanding the building infrastructure and the physical building systems. Students will be mentored by skilled professionals and tradespeople as they work in different shops around campus which may include Air Conditioning, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing & Mechanical, Grounds, Transportation Services, Motor Pool, and more. Students will coordinate with the Internship Program Manager in BYU Physical Facilities to determine which shops will be most beneficial to them during their internship. The Technical Internship can be completed during Fall, Winter, or Spring & Summer semesters
