CE Program Requirements
CE Program Changes 2024
The university has approved a number of changes to the BS program in Civil Engineering beginning Fall 2024. These are the largest curricular changes to the major in decades, and we hope this will implement a substantial shift in how you approach and think about your major in Civil Engineering. Students starting Fall 2024 will be enrolled in this new program. Students who declared their Civil Engineering major prior to Fall 2024 will need to meet with the academic advisor to update their program if they desire to follow the new requirements.

Civil Engineering Major Courses
This Course Scheduling Aid is provided for your convenience in planning your study program in Civil Engineering. The department will make every effort to teach each class as scheduled. However, on occasion, it may be necessary to drop a class from the schedule. It is very unlikely that any 100-495 courses will be affected; 500 and 600 level courses are more susceptible. Therefore, as you plan your program, your strategy should include options that will allow you to complete your studies in a timely manner even if one or two of your preferred courses should be canceled.
